Problem for Motorola RAZR V3

Problem with heaing incoming and outgoing calls unless using speakerphone

I can only hear a caller if I use my speakerphone. When the phone rings it is silent, and when I try to pick up a call without hitting speaker, I cant hear the person who is trying to call me. Phone rings to let me know a message has arrived, but I can only listen to voicemail via speaker.

Can they hear you? If they can it probably your speaker on the ear piece. A new one can be purchased or you can get a bluetooth headphone. My brother never puts the phone to his head.

I can't hear people that call me unless I put them on speaker phone. Called Motorola and they had me reset the phone but that did nothing. Any other suggestions?
