Blue Hat Toy company mp3 player cannot download new songs
Where can I obtain more information on how to use this item? I cannot get it to work and the little booklet is no help! I plug it in to the USB port the screen comes up but it will not let me place any songs on it. Can I use my itunes playlist or must I convert it first? help!
I have the same problem. I can't find any help anywhere. The mp3 file comes up and I put songs on it from i tunes but the only way it will play it is if it plays on the computer using the itunes, not helpful for using the player by itself. I am stumped and out of ideas.
Re: Blue Hat Toy company mp3 player cannot download new...
The player users the older mp3 format - go look in file view at the extension. the files you want to add you need to have in that same format. I *think* (not 100% positive, I didn't do the upload) if you just rename the mp4 to mp3s that they will then play fine

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.
You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player.
For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

for you to do this, you would need to obtain a driver for this device that would enable you wipe all the songs of with your computer. you can get the driver from this website http://www.opendrivers.com/categorycompany/1359/17302/cameras-and-mp3-player-iriver-free-driver-download.html after downloading the driver, you can connect it to your pc and then when your pc detects it, you can format it and load her songs unto it and give it to her. hope this was helpful? please comment for more information and rate
first try to format your player, if it has an option to do that. secondly ensure that the bit rates of the music files are in following ranges: mp3: 32-320kbps & WMA: 48-192kbps. and if u have uploaded pictures (.jpg) files into it then ensure hat they are not very high in number bcoz it can support upto 2000 items only including music and video and picture files.
The license on the songs that you are trying to download either does not permit transfer to mp3 players - or the license has expired. Use mp3 format songs only, and you will never have this problem. You can read my "Tips & Tricks" article on song formats if you really want more detailed information.
RCA's website has the software that you need if you lost the CD
As far as downloading songs, you can sign up for a wide number of music services - each one has a different download method, and the company website will explain how to use it. The problem with this RCA player is that it was tied to Yahoo!'s Musicmatch Jukebox svc, which was cancelled in October 2007, so you will have to find another music service. Some music services will recognize the RCA player directly, and you can use their svc to download the songs directly to your player. Other services you will have to download the songs first, and then transfer them to the RCA using Windows Media Player afterwards.
It sounds like you have a music subscription with some music company...download a new song and transfer it to your device...that should solve the problems..if that doenst do it..format your device and tried to transfer song again..
in order to help you illl need more information, like what programs are you using to download and convert them into your mp3 player? i use rhapsody, because when i used to use windows media player it would give me the same problems you seem to be having.
P.s. my e250 screen is broken v.t it was the only thing holding my entire colection of kick ass songs, most of which are irreplaceable due to undownloadableness. i could kill myself
I have the same problem with mine. Just return it to the company with a copy of the receipt and six dollars to pay for the shipment of the replacement. If you've had it for more than ninety days though I don't know what you could do.
