Have the administrator of Quickbooks log in mono-user mode and go under Edit --> Preferences --> Accounting --> Company Preferences Tab --> Change the closure date / password from there. He will be able to remove or assign a new password.

I can't help get your pass words back but just some advice I keep a little book in a drawer and when I put a pass word on my computer I write down the pass word and the date and the site I get into. Then if I want to change it some time I go to my book and change it with the date. That way you won't forget it. I was always losing mine before i did this.
Graham, no one in the world can retrieve your pass word, if you can't. That is why they invented the pass word security.
The only way to find it, is to write down all passwords you ever used and still can remember. Perhaps you did forgot a capital while using the last one.
If you have problems accessing an internet account, and you did set it up correct, you did give the provider of that site a mailers where he can send a reset code.
Not giving more clues, I have to do some assumptions. Anyway, check the login page carefully and check for buttons like problem logging in. or forgot password and press that one.
If your account is hacked and the person who did that, was quick enough, he perhaps did change the return mail address and then you have lost the account forever.
Although even Facebook will if asked send a reset code to an old mail address if you have a quick response.
Don't use the same password twice and change passwords regularly.
To s e t t h e t i m e a n d d a t e Your TAG Heuer chronograph is fitted with a screw-in crown and safety seals which guarantee it to be waterproof to 200 m (660 ft). Position 0: Crown is screwed in (normal position). Important: The crown must be screwed in correctly to guarantee the water-resistance of the watch. Position 1: Crown unscrewed. To change the hour (change of time zone) or date quickly, unscrew the crown, pull it out to position 2 (quick corrector) and turn it in either direction. This mode allows you to change the hour and the date without any loss of minutes. The date changes each time the hour-hand passes midnight. To set the time, unscrew the crown, pull it out to position 3 (setting the time) and turn it in either direction. After setting the date or the time, push the crown back and screw in to position 0.

To remove the BIOS password from a desktop. All you need to do is open the tower. Locate the CMOS battery. Remove it. Wait for a minute then put it back in. That would resolve the problem. However, that would also reset the BIOS settings back to factory settings. Meaning the dates will have to changed back to current. Depending on the BIOS, either press F2 or DEL then change the date there. Please let me know if this would resolve your issue.
