I just bought a ZLST401Q, Fushi, chinese manufactured snow thrower.
Its a single stage unit. I have followed the manufacture's directions for starting but can't seem to get it to start.

If the engine has a float type carburetor, remove the float cover and see if the float is hung in the down position. If so free it up and make sure it will now operate freely up and down. If not and the bowl is full of crud, you will have to remove and clean the carb.

prolly have to replace it, but you can try spraying P.B. lubricant on either end where the cable enters the jacket and working the cable back and forth untill it frees up; this has worked in the past for me on all sorts of jacketed cables, BE PATIENT AND ALLOW THE LUBE TO DO IT'S JOB, if you try to force it you could end up causing more damage to other components

clean out the carb and jets ,add fuel system cleaner and away you go.if no go use easy start
