first off if you can turn the player off try this...
1 put on hold and hold record button while u turn on (your sansa is now in recovery mode) 2 connect your sansa to your comp via usb cable a box should show up saying the firmware version 3 close the window and disconnect your sansa (it will restart)
if that doesnt fix your problem try this...
if you can actually connect your sansa to the comp. and see it in explorer try this....
1 connect your sansa to comp via usb cable 2 right click start on windows desktop go to explore 3 scroll down to your sansa's drive rifght click it go to properties 4 go to tools tab and click "check now" under error checking will take awhile and will erase your memory on the sansa but it will probably work again
If that fails, then try to download the Sansa Connect Recovery Tool from: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1532 If that still fails, upgrade the firmware from the Sansa website If that fails, uninstall the software from the installation CD and reinstall it from the Sansa website.
