I have built in webcam in Compaq Presario CQ62. It was working fine but today skype is not detecting webcam. I could not find webcam in list too.

goto control panel scanner and camera wizard
and then thr will be a camera
click on it
then take a new picture and u`ll see urself in the screen!

i have a compaq presario c772tu laptop . it is working fine but the inbuilt mic near webcam and external mic is not working. when i try to record a video with sound with the webcam only it records the video without any sound.
