Microcassette recorder is eating my tapes

We have a Sanyo Memo - Scriber model: TRC 5000KX and it is eating our tapes. Is this a fixable problem?

    Thank you. I will try this. Where can I get a head cleaner? Is it a solution or separate device?

Try cleaning the heads with a head cleaner and making sure none of the parts have become loose due to extensive use.

    Cleaning the heads probably wont fix it, the most likely cause is the spindle that takes up the tape after the tape passes the record/play head, that spindle has lost its grunt. The unit will need a service

Sanyo Memo-Scriber TRC9010 How do I erase the tapes??

If you're at the beginning of the tape, just press "ERASE" and "FAST FORWARD" simultaneously.
Then flip the tape over, and repeat. :)

Hello Sorry but the Model Sanyo TRC-8080 is not Recorder is only a transcriber the Sanyo Model Sanyo TRC-8800 is a Dictator and trancriber if you are looking for a good unit this is a good alternative
