The correct code (or whether there is a code at all) depends on which version of the Sky remote you are using. The version number of the remote can be found on a sticker inside the battery compartment. If you have "RC1600/00" "Rev 4" or "Rev 6" on the sticker, then it's unlikely that it will work with your TV, but please read on as this isn't always true.
If you have a "Rev 8" remote then it's more likely to work with your TV, however, according to Sky, you will need to buy the new "Rev 9
" Sky remote:
If buying one, be sure to check the button for the "Rev 9" version ( £0.85).
The actual code for your TV model is: 0718
I suggest you try the above code regardless
of which version of Sky remote you have as Sky's information is not always accurate. You can also try these generic codes for Philips TVs:
0584, 0266, 0065, 0749, 1679, 0199, 0679
Again, try these with whichever version of the Sky remote you are using. There is a good chance that one of them will operate the volume and power functions on your TV. If none of the above codes work, then you will probably need to buy a Rev 9 remote.
Hope this helps. Please post back if you need further assistance.
