Both HDMI inputs stopped working the other day. all other inputs still work.
If nothing had worked yet, then one of the small capacitor located on the HDMI input board has blown, in this case you need to call a technician.
Get some technic guy to check your device board the problem can be there. also try hard reset but i think that the problem is with the hdmi connectors they can be not connected fully with the board
Its the fault in the hdmi input board thats getting short internally on the circuit it needs to be checked with a meter to locate the faulty track on the hdmi board and that needs to be replaced.get it repaired to avoid further damage to the board. as the cables are perfect.
Try turning the set off, waiting until the fans have shutdown and unplugging it for 30 second. Then, plug it back in and see if the problem went away.
Have You Tried Reseting The Device?
Check your hdmi cables and their connectors.
You possibly have a faulty connector either on the cable or on the tv or the board is faulty.
Hows the warranty?
Try unpluging the tv for 30 minutes to reset it, try again. You most likely have a fault on the hdmi / input board.
Would suggest to get a service manual to guide if you are going todo repairs yourself, would also recommend having a professional help you with the repairs, and inspect the tv to confirm the fault.

Right now there seems to be many people with the same TV problems with sony and HDMI cables. Most of the solutions are resetting the TV and sony product. Try leaving your TV unplugged for a hour to let it reset itself.

HDMI connectors are very bad soldered inside the set,not easy to resolder for an amateur ( if you are an amateur offcourse )
Other option is the HDMI cable itself.

As crcelect suggests you can run the TV on RCA. You should also be able to use coax directly from your cable box. If you don't have cable you can use an rf converter to connect coax.
I have exactly the same problem with my Panasonic TH-42PX75U. I've been told that I may need to run a setup on my cable box to fix the problem. If I find a solution I'll provide details in a future post.
