Question about Epson Stylus CX5000 InkJet Photo Printer

1 Answer

Color problem Suddenly my Epson Stylus CS 5000 is printing lime green where there should be reds and browns and very light pink (almost white) where vibrant pink should be. It prints green where there should be black. All ink cartridges are new and installed in the right place, except yellow is a little low, but that's happened before without this problem. What could be causing this?

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

Serious Color Printer Issues

This is to do with the way in which the cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink is mixed to produce all the colours e.g. to print "red" requires both magenta and yellow ink. Thus, if the magenta ink is not flowing for some reason, for example, the "red" will print out as yellow. So, make sure all your cartridges and nozzles are working properly.

If you need further help with this, please post a new comment to this effect.
