I can help you out on this , there should be about 3 flat head screws that are difficult to see under the round cover/front cover , there should be 3 peices to the entire t-stat , the front comes off easy and then there are the 3 screws and then the base mounted to the wall. let me know how this works.

Where is battery on a Honeywell LR95329 Thermostat Base please?

They all hide in the thermostat base.

Load on the contacts is 24 vac standard, 30 volts max. the battery however is a standard AA or AAA Duracell battery, it is not 30 volts.... Those are available almost everywhere, You can pry the front of the thermostat from its wall mount sub base and see the batteries inside... just replace them.

Not sure if your needing info on air conditioner or a thermostat but here is the link to honeywell. Just choose your product and model #. If it was the thermostat your replacing, look back at the old one and write down what wires went where. There should be letters/numbers by each connection. This will help with the new installation.

Hello, sounds like the problem Is a wiring issue, there might be a loose wire in the wall causing this problem with your thermostat, however usually the wires don't get loose in the wall unless they were spliced. Also, make sure the connections on the thermostat sub base are tight to each terminal and that the thermostat is mounted securely to the wall.

Problem with Honeywell HCW80

The thermostat is mounted in front of a hole and a void in the wall. A draft of air may be coming in from this void, where the wires are in the wall. It should be sealed so the thermostat keeps accurate temperature.
Thermostats temperature reading can be calibrated if the reading is off, as indicated by the thermostat's installation manual

It would appear to me that you have lost the 24 volt power supply to the thermostat. In referencing the manuals for this thermostat, available @ www.honeywell.com, I've found that when the thermostat is not connected to the wall plate (plate mounted on the wall, that the thermostat either snaps or screws into), it will display the -AC. This being said, either the thermostat is loose on the wall currently, or your 24 volt transformer has died. Hope this helps.

How do i uninstall my old honeywell mercury thermostat

There are three parts to a T87F thermostat. Outer ring, thermostat body, and base mount. Remove the snap on ring that goes around the dial. Remove three screws from the thermostat that mount it to its base. Remove the thermostat. Disconnect and record what screws each wire attaches to. Remove the screws holding the base to the wall.
