Cannot open my hp disc door on tower

if you wish to manually open the dvd drive. there is a small hole there. you can use a pin to push it. it is a manual button to release the tray.. you need to apply force but not that hard.. :)

Hewlett Packard Pavilion Tower Button Flashes for a second but will not power on the tower. The green light in back is on and power source is fine. How can I fix this?

Sounds like the power supply is bad. That's the one inside the tower.

You could try blowing dust out of it,  reseating the connectors. But I have a feeling it needs replacing.
