I have a rca u/remote code#rcr3283 and i cant find a code 4 a toshbia tv

There is no set-up code for this TV with any remote control.

It will be very difficult to get all functions of the RCA device, synchronise with a universal remote control. Just find a code, whic has maximum finctionality. That is all we can do. Just try an other code for RCA TV to universal remote. I hereby send some codes to check. OK

Hi! You try using these steps for you to program your remote control to your TV.

1. Manually turn ON your TV.
2. Press and "HOLD" CODE SEARCH
3. Press and release the TV button
4. Release CODE SEARCH.
5. Press OFF/ON repeatedly until the TV turns off (you may have to press up to 100 times at a rate of once per second).
6. Once the TV turns off, press and release ENTER.
7. With the TV on, press any other button. If the TV responds, no further programming is required. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 1-6.

The codes of your remote control for Toshiba TV are 1011, 1017, 1018, 1042, 1054, 1090, 1091, 1094, 1097, 1100, 1103, 1107, 1110, 1122, 1191, 1192, 1209, 1214, 1265, 1266, 1279, 1290, 1294, 1300, 1305, 1306, 1311, 1314, 1323, 1344, 1346, 1353, 1369, 1381. If in case none of these works you can try doing manual search and these are the steps.

1. Manually turn on the TV.
2. Press and hold the TV key. The LED turns on and remains on. Keep holding down the TV key.
3. While holding the TV key down, press and hold the POWER key. The LED turns off. After holding down both keys for three seconds, the LED turns back on.
4. Release both keys. The LED remains on.

Throughout the programming of each key, be sure to keep the remote pointed at the IR sensor of the TV you are currently programming the remote to control.

5. Press and release the POWER key repeatedly until your TV turns off. Each time you press the POWER key, the LED blinks, and the next code in the list is sent. This process continues until all of the codes in the Code Lists have been tried. If your component turns off, you have
found the correct code. (If it cycles through and the LED blinks four times and turns off, all codes have been searched. The Manual Code Search method is exited.)

Because there are so many codes, you may have to press the POWER key many times—possibly hundreds of times.

6. Once you have found the correct code, you must save the new code by pressing and releasing the STOP key. The LED turns off. You must press the STOP key to save the code or the correct code will not be stored! When you press the STOP key, the code is stored.

Need code for the remote

Get the 8.00 rca universal remote at wal mart (model rcr312w) follow the auto scan instructions and it will work.  I just had this same problem, bought 4 universal remotes and this one worked!

A few problems come to mind. The high voltage block took a dump and opened up. The filiment supply from the HV sweep has cold solder connections on the Printed circuit board. Another problem is the most common of all could be a vertical sweep falure like the vertical output IC or the b+ going to the chip or maybe even a bad yolk connection on the solder side. Good luck
