CD Deck one wont read discs at times and will sometimes skip through songs is this fixable?

Sound like your Laser has gone. Part No. 9640005107

At $120-$130 for a replacement + P&P + fitting it's probably not viable.

There's no instructions in the Wharfedale manual on how to do this. Why not put the SD card into a computer and erase the songs you don't want?

Cds dont load and tracks will skip during song play

It is clear symptoms of bad optical laser or dirty optical lens.
Please put lens cleaning CD in player, play that CD to clean dust on optical lens surface. If that helps, fine or replace optical laser block in player.
I can provide you optical lens part number, please confirm is it Sony CDP-CX153 cd player or any other model.
Thanks.

CDs keep skipping within the songs.

Sounds like it may be a dirty laser. Try a laser cleaner first.

Songs skip mid tune? not ev song but enuf 2drive u nuts

Update the firmware.
Reload the songs.
If the problem persists:
Re-rip the CD songs in Mp3 format in Windows Media Player
Then reload the songs. WMA format has a checkable option that is normally turned off by default, but must be turned on inside your Windows Media Player - it is much easier to reconvert the songs into Mp3 format than to tell you how to change this WMA option.

Skipping of songs on my ipod

Hi,
Your music is probably in the wrong format or the individual files are corrupted in some way. If the same songs are skipped everytime, delete those songs. Check the format on them by right clicking on them and selecting 'properties'. Check to see if they are formatted in MP3 format or a format that the iPod can play. If you ripped them from a CD, they will be in AAC format which takes up more room on your iPod.

When you rip a CD into iTunes, you can choose what format to rip it as. Try it. Hope that works.

Adding Songs from CDs onto my MP3 Player

If you're using Windows, then use Windows Media player to rip your music into WMA. If you don't want to do that, use CDdex to rip your music from CD to MP3. The problem probably lies in whatever program your using to rip your music. To your player. http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/

Songs are skipping

if you're songs are in wma format, the license has expired

Use mp3 formatted songs and you won't have these types of problems

WMA is temporary, Mp3 is forever
