The button you are looking for is the "Cisco Systems" logo on the left hand side.

The first few things to do is to plug it into the new computer. Look at the network icon and identify if it sees the connection at all. Red X means no connection, Yellow ! means limited connection, Computer icon means connected with internet. If you have a Red X you have a cabling issue most likely or the network adapter is disabled. If you have a Yellow ! try using the trouble shooter built into Windows 7. (since you stated it was a new computer) The troubleshooter will identify a likely reason for the issue and attempt to resolve it for you. This should get you pointed in the right direction.
