Sorry, but these softkeys are fixed in the display of an idle phone. They cannot be removed.

How do I stop the LED flashing

If you subscribe to call waiting from your supplier, be sure to clear all those messages before you attempt the following procedure. The LED is also an indicator for call waiting.

Here is what works for our SwissVoice E-pure phone. When the phone is in the standby mode (waiting for a call), press the UP navigation key on the right side of the phone. These keys are also used for volume adjustment in another mode. This gets you in the missed calls menu. Then press on the down navigation key as often as needed to stop the LED from flashing. By pressing on the down key, you start from the latest missed call and go back.

If the phone has been flashing for some time, you might have to go through a lot of missed calls before they are all cancelled. According to the instruction manual. it can store 50 missed calls.

Good luck.

I am trying to change a name on our systems telephone speed dial list and we have a KX-T7630 any help will do.

This name is stored in the main system processor, not the phone. On the phone, key in *#1234. display shows "sys Prog.
Key in 002 then press NEXT. Disply shows Sys SPD. Name . Enter the speed dial code that you use for the name you wish to change i.e. 000 to 999 followed by NEXT. The existing name will show on the display. Using the keypad, just like your mobile 'phone, key in the new name. For example, for John you would key in 5, then the button under the display with J, then 6 and the button under O etc. When complete, press the button marked "Auto-Dial/ Store followed by the hold button followed by program button

Need help clearing and programming in new speed dials

I actually found the "Installation Manual" to accomplish this. Switch the button on the top front of the phone to "Program". Then the screen will show a "PITS-PGM NO?" display. Type in "*" then "#" and it will ask you for the "PASSWORD". Type in your 4 digit password, the default one is "1 2 3 4". When you enter it in correctly, it will display "SYS-PGM NO?". This is where you can enter in the "number" associated with the task you are trying to perform. For speed dials, it was 001. For date and time it was 000. Using certain buttons on the phone you then navigate accordingly. Hope this helps!
