Memory card not working

what type of memory card is it? Because my nokia use to say that so I got a different brand of memory card and it seemed to work..

There is the problem with Memory card connector or Memory card IC try to replace both it may get solved. if your Mobile technician then only try this if not then Please Visit your nearest Nokia Service Center(Nokia Care) they will do it properly.

Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com

Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.

Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.

In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.

Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.

Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

insert your memory card after switching off your phone, then restart it,, your phone will accept the card

just insert the memory card in ur phone and ur memory will automatically recognised... if not then connect your phone with pc (with memory card inserted) then ur accessable to ur memory backup...

The 3230 isn't able to show you what memory is actually being used, so it isn't giving you an accurate reading.
Do you have a memory card installed? Copy some files over to your memory card and try it that way.
Hope you solve your problem.

Format your mmc and fone memory both and try it ..........
