I have replaced the Fuser unit and transfer belt in my Samsung CLP 320 printer. The printer is still telling me to replace these parts even though i have put new parts in. Can some one please tell me how i can reset the counters on this printer. I did email samsung who told me that only an engineer can replace these parts and to contact there service department. If this can only be done by an engineer, why is it that you can freely buy these parts from most stationary outlets? I would be grateful if someone out there has the info i need to reset the counters on the printer, without the need for an after market chip. I appologise if this has been covered in another thread.

Imaging counter reset is obtained by printing Status page. Depress reset key for some seconds.

The part number you need is JC96-03239C-N
You may order it through this website; you'll need to call them for pricing information. They are a reputable company that I use to obtain parts.
Thanks and please give this solution a thumbs up rating, solving your problem.

i have tried to look around for you and can only find ones for similar models - ranging from £60 to £90 - possibly time to look at the actual value of the printer and its age and see if its worth replacing this.
It must have done a huge amount of pages for this to go so would it be a case of if you fixed this would something else major go wrong in the near future?
