Question about HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Good-morning.... I have a HP 5610 All-In_one. I am getting a background shadow or hue (like a double print, if you will. I have cleaned print heads through the on-board service. Went through these steps several times. There is no change. I wish to align the print heads, but I keep getting a msg that the page is skewed, please rescan. SO! I rescan, but to only keep getting the same msg. Any help wiith this issue would be most sincerely appreciative. Thanks! **** Goss Palatka, Florida

First of all disconnect your USB Cable from the PC
which will make your Printer as a stand alone PC

Then try to Print Printer Self Test Page on a fresh page without any folds or wrinkels
this will print one self test page
and then put this page on the top of the printer i.e on Scanner Belt
and that will alifn your cartridges after the scan

After this connect your Printer to PC
go to
Start >> Printers and Faxes >> choose your printer and
Right click and Properties and Click "Print Test Page"

What paper are you using, and what paper setting in your computer?
When you rand a nozzle test, were the nozzle lines even, or did some look kind of out of place? (a deflected nozzle will give that gosting effect, and "underhead cleaning" is the answer)

Clean the Carts with Isopropyl Achohol, Open the printer settings, right click on the Printer Icon, open properties, Maintenance, clean print heads.

Troubleshooting a HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer. Installed new ink cartridge but it's still acting like its out of ink ie, spotty printing. Suggestions?

50% or stronger isopropyl works well as a solvent, 91% dries very quickly. Try cleaning both the contact-film surface of the ink cartridge and the print-head (carriage, actually) in the printer with a lint-free cloth or swab and solvent (swabs reach to the carriage contacts better) CAREFULLY. Clean the print head on the cartridge itself by pressing straight on, not rubbing back and forth, with a lint-free cloth and solvent. Use the HP print head cleaner program first, then check alignment with HP's program, then print a test page. Is this not exactly what the help file on maintenance tells you?

Printing a shadow

i would redownload latest drivers 1st ok then dop a nozzel clean up then maby cheak status of black use only oginal ink parts not generic

When color printing, looks blurred, but not.

You need to align the cartriges. If you have the HP software installed on your machine, you can just open that and click on the align button. If not here is the link to download the software:

Just select your operating system and then download the North America/Western Europe full software solution under software. This should allow you to align your cartiges. Just follow the instructions when aligning. Hope this helps you out!
