My computer doesn't recognize my fujifilm finepix 98100 anymore.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to transfer pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa.

Lost the sd card after taking photos the with Cannon A570is. How can I recover the photos with only the camera?

If you haven't transferred the photos from the card to some other device then the only way you'll see those photos again is if you find the card. It's like anything else you have only one of. If you lose it, you've lost it.

Sorry if that wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but that's the way it is.

I put newly charged panasonic evolta batteries into my Pentax E10. Took a couple of photos. Then plugged the connector into the computer and managed to transfer one photo into my photos library, but not...

When you reboot the computer, that message should go away. Use an external SD card reader and transfer your photos that way. They are inexpensive and relieves the need to connect the camera to the PC. It will transfer your photos much quicker too

Hello, I have a Lumix DMC-FS10, I have found that some of my photos have downloaded to thumbprint size which won't seem to go any bigger without distortion and some are normal I unfortunately deleted...

Actually, you still might be able to get those photos back, even though they've been erased. Try not to take any more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones.
This sounds like the problem may have occurred because you might not have formatted the card in your camera as recommended by the manufacturer. If true, after you've recovered your photos, format the card in your camera using the camera's format feature. This will prevent this from happening again.

I can no longer transfer photos from my Coolpix 4300 to the computer. Is it a camera or lead fault pls?

Problem could be either a lead or might be within the camera. Remove your memory card and insert it in the card reader on your computer. If it reads okay and transfers the photos then take a few more photos and try again using the camera connected to the compter. If it fails again try a new connecting cord. Good luck.

Some pictures already there

Try using a separate card reader to download your pictures to a folder you create on your desktop. Then you can carefully rename the ones that the computer thinks are duplicates and then move them to their final destination. Your camera is obviously creating new folders but not continuing the sequence of numbers on the photos. You might want to e-mail one of Kodak's tech people with your problem to see if they've come up with a work-around.
