I had same symptoms. After wasting two hours, I finally found the HD not making good contact within the enclosure because I have not screwed it in with the frame. It must have broken the connection while I was handling the enclosure. So my suggestion is to check the simple stuff first - connections and loose cables, particularly within the enclosure.

I needed no drivers for my Windows XP Pro.

How to use a 512 MB flash drive

Normally you would just have to plug the flash drive into a USB port on either your laptop or desktop computer. If you are operating on a relatively new computer it should automatically detect and install any driver that is needed. Once that's complete, you can "get to" or view the items on the flash drive by clicking on the start menu (assuming you are using a Windows computer), then my computer and selecting the drive letter of the flash drive.

Blue light is not working

What is this?? Is the drive internal, or by the blue light I assume you mean it is external. Is the blue light really all that nessesary? If you need it to shine (and I assume you just WANT it to shine 'cause it's PRETTY) then try installing any software that came with it, and by the way, what brand is this?

Nexstar

Its normal, and is the signal showing the drive powering/spinning up and down. The drive spins at 7200 rpms, when you power it up or down, its switches onto the speed that best suits  what it's intended to do.
