SOURCE: How do I get to the grease containers?

The grease container is at the bottom of the range. If you remove the front panel there is a little plastic cup that holds the grease. Hope this helps!!

Is there a vent cover for the downdraft vent. The

not that I know of but the fans on these ranges usually have multiple speeds. Try using the lowest. The fans are very strong on them. Hope this helps. good luck.

I am wondering if with a Jenn Air downdraft electric range do I have to vent to the outside or does it recirculate? and is there a filter?

yes you have to or grease will build up under your house and I dont think there is a filter for this application but double check with a appliance supply house though I dont do alot of installs

I wanted to know how many Jennair downdraft electric ranges were out in 2000, with a sealed 2 unit burner and a grill and are there still replaceable plug in units for them?

Modules are still available for some models but you need the model and serial numbers of the range to find out what is available to fit it. The customer service number for Jenn-air is
800-536-6847. You might call a local appliance store if they carry Jenn-air products.

I believe this is working as designed! The downdraft fan always turns on when I run my own grill!
