Normally if the you think the seal is too old than it is, I normally work on commerical fridges and the way that I check is too shine a torch inside the fridge and see if you can see any light gaps.

Where abouts are you and I will recommend someone to be able to change the seals. Normally they are about60-110 Supply or 80-120 supply and Install.

I would highly recommend getting someone in to change it for you thou as If done wrong it can warp the fridge door

Hope that helps

My fisher and phosphate fridge is making a whining noise when door is closed?

sounds like the fan is either faulty or ice built up around fan, and the blade is hitting the ice - as the defrost heater may need replacing. Check for excess ice build up around door area (which would indicate the door not sealing correctly) or excess ice at rear could be due to faulty defrost heater, or the PCB board requires replacement.

Rubber has come off the door of my DW60CDX2 dishwasher

If the dishwasher is new and under warranty you could ask the Fisher and Paykel customer service to fix it.

Otherwise you need to work out which seal is involved, the one at the bottom of the door (attached to the door) or the one around the cabinet where the door fits.

Refer this site for parts and also the assembly diagram.Hope this helps.

I need anew rubber seal around my oven door do i need a electrician or can i do it myself

This is a fairly straight forward job that most people can undertake. Carefully remove the old one and the new one is simply the reversal. If in doubt ask the supplier of the new seal his thoughts and a trick I use these days on all my new jobs is to take plenty of digital photos. you will be amazed how helpful they are are on reassembly. Cheers

F1 fault

F1 code would mean the flood switch is activated.

In Nautilus people have found this to be caused by a faulty door seal.
Water seeps under the diswasher base panel and finally the flood switch (a protection) activates.

The solution is to replace door seal after drying out under the base panel.
