Vetical output section have to be troubleshooted. Replace all the electrolytic capacitors in this section circuit. There will be 5 or six of them. Replace them all at one time.
Reset the player, then run the Sansa Recovery Tool on the Sansa website. I had a Sansa Clip that was giving me all kinds of hell. It even gave me the MTP device pop-up indefinitely. I simply restarted my computer after restarting the player, and then recovering the player, and the player works fine again.
Try this: Press and hold the center button and the start button at the same time for about 10-20 sec. it worked for, plus thats what the ppl at sandisk told me to do.
