It is possible you burned an inline fuse, starter selonoid.
Do yu get power for the accessories? If so, check the power ging to the starter and work backwards to resolve. Hope you did not fry the Control Module, check all your fuses!
You need to trace back from the switches for power. Remove the switches and get a testlamp and check for power, if there is power, then its the switch, if not then trace the cables back to the fuse box, checking for broken wires.
remove top of fan cowling 2 clips draw a diagram of belt route put spanner on tensioner pulley bolt turn clockwise remove belt with assistant helping keep tensioner pulled back fit new belt over pulleys release tensioner onto belt refit cover
Have you checked the switch is not pressed to disengage the rear windows. The center switch in the centre console by the other window switches. Or it could be a faulty switch.
I had this problem on my discovery 300 tdi, behind the gove box is a black box bolted onto the small bulkhead if you open this, you will find a circuit board with 2 plugs going into it, this is the ecu for the windows you will find that there will be a dry soldier joint on the circuit board just check this, my discovery had the same problem, re-soldiered the circuit board and all works fine.
If you google for landrover forums you will find the answer on there.
