Question about Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V2000 Notebook
When I plug in my earphone in the earphone jack they do not work yet the laptop speaker is ok so is the plugged in mic.
First ensure that the headphones are working, by testing them on a divverent devices.
Ensure that computer has sound from speakers, if computer has not sound at all , then you need to reinstall audio drivers.
Then restart the computer with earphone plugged in, this solves a bios control related problem.
If still no luck, than you may have a broken solder joint on the Jack socket, in that case the repair must be done by a technician.

The earphones work with my PC and on another laptop they are good.Sound on the laptop is very good. I have seen this problem on the Net where people seem to have the same problem. There is no broken solder on the board this appears to be an issue with fujitsu laptops.
