CD lost i want to reformat may acer aspire 1640 laptop but i lost may CD what should i do?

Has the OS been upgraded? From what XP?

then click on notebook - Aspire - choose 1640 - then download all the drivers and burn it to a CD. This is better than the motherboard CD as the drivers are latest ones when compared to your motherboard CD.

The password exists for your protection -- to prevent a thief from taking and using your computer.

Find your original sales-receipt, to prove that you are the owner, and contact ACER, and they will be able to assist you.

go online www.acer.com then choose make, model,and country and all the drivers will be there, you can download them free.

If you have the factory CD's you can yous that to reformat and install all defaults. If not, you can use a bootable Windows CD. Boot to the cd (pressing F12 as soon as the computer turns on and selecting Boot to CD)

You can the use the Windows CD to format the drive and re-install Windows.

Hello, I have an old Acer Aspire 3680, the problem is once i press the power button the screen is frozen displaying only the Acer logo, i cannot even go to the BIOS (pressing F2) to change my setting to boot from a CD. Please help. THX

You need to reload the Windows.

i hv inbuilt bluetooth thats why asking for recovery cd or any drivers for that so coz i m trying to search bluetooth of my nokia phone 6270 the pc has only a window which even cannot try to search the bluetooth i think their drivers are lost ok can u please help me to get knowledge abt Acer Aspire 1640 that has it inbuilt bluetooth? coz their in front pennel of my note book their is a sign of bluetooth nr one indicator and frankly saying this pc is given to me by my brther in law (software engineer) so he is in u.s. and all the information he doesnt given me coz he is very buzy person so i m trying to solve my own
