Question about HP PSC 2210 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Printer stops in the middle of a printing and shuts down

I have an HP psc 2210 all-in-one. While printing, the printer stops in the middle of a printer job and shuts completely down. There are no lights. My only recourse is to unplug the printer and plug it up again. Then I may get off a page or two before the same thing happens again. What's wrong with the printer? What's the solution?

I have an HP Deskjet F4180 All-In-One printer. While printing the printer stops in the middle of the job and tells me there's a paper jam. I press resume and and it feeds the paper through but when I go to printer again it stops. What's wrong?

Force the HP all-in-one to reinitialize by following the steps below:

  1. Turn the unit off by pressing the ON button.
  2. Disconnect the power cord.
  3. Wait five seconds, then reconnect the power cord.
  4. but before plugging the unit back in, press and hold the # and 6 keys on the HP all-in-one numeric keypad. Continue to hold these keys down for a few seconds after plugging the unit back in to reset it. Once the all-in-one re-establishes communication with the computer, reset the language and country.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

I am attempting to delete a print job on my psc 2210 but after waiting 12 hours it is still there blocking other print jobs I'd like to make. How can I delete this one?

Go to Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, then Services. Scroll down to Print Spooler. There are 2 selections on the left, Stop and Restart. Go ahead and hit Stop. Once it does, click delete on the printer screen to get rid of the unwanted document. Then click Restart to start the spooler again. This should work.

My print command keeps reverting to SAVE, showing a window box for *.xps, and does not execute the print. I also do not have the HP PSC 2210 icon in my "PRINTERS & FAXES" panel, it is missing, so I believe...

It sounds like the printer is no longer installed. Reinstall it using the original driver disk, if you do not have the disk you can download the drivers from www.hp.com under drivers and downloads.

Hope this helps

Hp psc 2210 all in one printer

You can't load the software that came with the printer.

HP has a Vista page for your printer. Here is a link: PSC2210 Using Vista

Basically, you need to uninstall the software AND delete the printer from your computer. Disconnect your USB cable. Power up your printer. Connect the USB cable.

The above link gives some workarounds for scanning and importing images.
