Question about Logitech diNovo Edge 9676850403 Keyboard

1 Answer

My keyboard worked with my PS3 when I used my Belkin PS/PS2 USB 2.0 adapter but now I switched to another adapter (simpler design) and my keyboard no longer works. Any suggestions?

Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.
Hope this helps. Bud

How do I connect the mouse?

i am assuming you have a usb mouse and a PS2 connection on the computer. If this is the case then you need a female usb to ps2 mouse adapter
So that the mouse cable plugs into the USB female connection and the male ps/2 plug end goes int othe female ps2 port on the computer.
If this is the case you have the wrong converter the chester will convert a ps/2 on the mouse or keyboard to a usb on the back of the computer.. Can you tell us what sort of mouse you are trying to connect does the end of the cable have a usb plug on it a bit like the blue usb plug in your picture.
If this is the case then you need a female usb to ps2 mouse adapter
Google it and see the difference.

I am trying to use my Dell keyboard with my Toshiba laptop through a PS2 to a USB adapter. The message is that the USB is not recognized.

I would believe that it could be the Ps2/USB adapter is broken. From personal experience I have never found a Ps2 to usb adapter not to work. I used it for multiple devices on both ends (using it on Ps3 with a PS2 keyboard or mouse, for example).

It's also the dell keyboard is defunct.

I have an usb adapter for old ps/2 keyboards, which I tried using for the Dell SK8110 Keyboard. But unfortunately, my laptop needs to install this keyboard's driver for it to function. Any idea where I can...

I think you do not need a driver. Generally ps2 keyboards are detected automatically and work just fine. Still you may go to device manager and un-install the keyboard from there. Then reboot the machine. When it starts again it should detect the modem again.
Note, if you are using a usb mouse please change it to ps2 mouse.

Hey my mouse wont work help

How old is the mouse? Corded or cordless? PS2 or USB?

In general, for USB mice that don't work, check that the USB ports are working by trying the mouse in a different port. Try another (known working device) in the ports and see if that responds. If a PS2 to USB (or USB to PS2) adapter is in use, replace it or just replace the mouse (remember the mouse dongle is not interchangeable with a keyboard type).

Mice are relatively cheap and will fail. Corded mice will get a break in the cord over time - replacing them is simpler than trying to find the break. Cordless mice require checking the batteries and the receiver.

I hope this helps.

My dell sk8110 keyboard has a round purple connector plug that fit my old computer. My new computer has only USB ports. How can I connect my keyboard to the new computer?

The round purple connector is refered to as "PS/2" type connector. You can find an adapter that converts PS/2 to USB connector. The above link was just to show what I was refering to. Hope this helps.

Belkin wireless keyboard receiver won't work with my laptop

Yes and no...
"Wireless enabled" means you do not need a separate adapter to connect to a wireless NETWORK or computer, not a peripheral device.

I assume the two connectors are PS/2- plugs - one pink, the other one green. What you need is a PS/2- -to-USB adapter that should have come with your keyboard. PS/2-in, USB-out, either with or without the cables (see picture)
