Buttons not working

I think the buttons are called something like Quick Launch buttons. Go to the manufacturers site and see if there are drivers to download and install.

Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "AcerSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the Quick Launch drivers.

I can only use my acer in safe mode if it is in regular mode it just shuts off after i type in the password it still shuts off when im in safe mode but not as much i was having problems with acer...

A program that is set to launch at boot is corrupted and crashes Windows.
Since troubleshooting the boot programs is a complicated job, you should go the sure way: reinstall Windows. Once that is done reload the programs one at a time.

How to change prorammable button on Acer Aspire 7736Z-4448

-Go to Windows Start
-Type in "Launch Manager"
-Choose whatever program you want to customize button to.
-If your program isn't listed there select "Add"
-You can add whatever program from your computer of type in a web address from there.
P.S. Acer doesn't list this anywhere, and they want to charge you for the info if you call them (so wrong of them).

Acer Easy Launch Buttons

First go to the DOS menu by clicking on Run the type cmd. At the DOS prompt type "regedit"...this is your register files you will see a file called HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Sometimes, not always on every system, you can collapse that folder and there will be folders for each of your hotkeys...However be aware, these are your Register files, do not make any changes experimentally. If you do not see your hotkey folders then exit..hope this helps

My CineDash Media Console will not work anymore. The volume, stop, play, etc. does not work. Not with itunes anymore.

This is the way to get it to work!
Getting the CineDash Media Console and Launch Buttons working
If you have problems with either the CineDash Media Console or Launch buttons then you will be happy to hear that the solution for fixing these is easy!
The first thing that you will need to do is install the “Launch Manager” which can be downloaded off the Acer website. Go to www.acer.com and click the service support, then driver download. Go to your model. Download the Launch Manager here (hosted here) or go to the acer site and find it there. The filename should be “Kilimanjaro_v2.0.00_Vistax32×64_XPx32×64.zip” the version of Launch Manager under the Windows Vista operating system .This will get the Email, Web and Empowering Technology buttons working with their default settings. If you need to change what the buttons do, you can launch the application named “Launch Manager” in the start menu.
Uninstall any previous version of Launch Manager
The solution to my problem was to get the Launch Manager to run in compatibility mode for Windows Vista Service Pack 2.
Unzip. Explore the new folder and right-click Setup.exe.
To do this go to the Launch Manager Install directory (C:\Program Files\Launch Manager ), right-click on “setup.exe”, select the “troubleshoot compatibility” tab, check the “Troubleshoot program” check box and then click “The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won’t install or run now”. Then select “Windows Vista Service Pack 2”. Then click “Start” program. Now everything should work properly! It will install. But don’t reboot yet!
Now locate and explore the freshly installed folder in your program files directory – (probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Launch Manager or C:\Program Files\Launch Manager depending on if you are running 64-bit or 32-bit)
right-click on “LManager.exe”, select the “troubleshoot compatibility” tab, check the “Troubleshoot program” check box and then click “The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won’t install or run now”. Then select “Windows Vista Service Pack 2”. Then click “Start” program. Now everything should work properly! It will install.
Reboot and enjoy properly synced volume, and fully functioning buttons.

Acer Launch Program in a perpetual loop. I need to use the Windows Task Manager to shut it down, otherwise that screen is always on top and I can't see the program windows behind. How do I turn it off or...

I discovered that my Apire 5315 has a small green button in the top right corner of the keyboard which is used to launch the program. Apparently, my button is stuck on, so it constantly engages the program. Now I just need to figure out how to "unstick" the button - which looks more like a stickon logo than an actual button!

How to turn on the wireless card for an acer 5720-4126?

Hello,
Look for the easy launch buttons and press the one with a big circle with a small dot, this is the wireless switch.

The easy launch buttons is located at the top of the keyboard right below the power button. There are actually 4 of them below the power button, it's the second one from left.

Thanks,
Lolita

It comes as part of the package when you bought it.
It's already on the hard drive. Acer recommend you make a recovery disk before you start using the machine.

How can I launch Acer eRecovery Management to back up or restore my system?

Solution:
You can press <Alt+F10> or the Empowering Key to launch in a Windows environment, or press <Alt+F10> during boot up. For the Veriton desktop series, you can also press the hardware reset button at any time. For the Aspire or AcerPower desktop series, an Acer eRecovery Management icon can be found on the desktop screen.

Hope it helps.
