Question about Toshiba Satellite A100-S8111TD Notebook
I have a Toshiba Laptop that was given to me by my Sisiter-in-law to attempt a repair.Brief description:Power distribution from power chip is
in 3 parts:Processor,LED's and LCD Monitor.Everything boots when I power up and I am able to navigate menus and so on.The only problem is DC is not arriving at the monitor LED,or whatever type of element provides illumination to the screen.I need to know the disassembly procedure to access this voltage distribution circiut,so I can verify whether DC is flowing from the B+ terminal.I appreciae any assistance,as my sister-in-law can't afford a new unit right now.Thank you!
Go to Toshiba's web site and find the tech specs for your model. That should tell you how to disassemble the bezel and keyboard so you can troubleshoot the inverter.
