Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
I tried connecting my laptop to my tv using a vga cable, i cud hear the audio but couldnt see the video. when i restarted my laptop the tv said "format not supported". what shud i do to connect my laptop to my tv
Press the Blue function key and toggle the screens. You can view, the Laptop, the Laptop and Screen, or just the screen.
Also you will need to flick through the channel button on the TV to get to the PC interface. Since you indicated you were using a VGA cable, this is likely the missing element.
Note: The VGA cable does not carry audio, you either had a separate audio interface to the TV or you were using RBG/Composite/S-Video/HDMI. So check to make sure you are using the correct cables.
