Question about NorStar T7208 Corded Phone
I added a mailbox to an extension; initiated the mailbox; recorded the name etc.; when I dial the extension from within the office I hear the name and greeting I recorded which identifies the extension BUT when I dial into the extension from outside the office once the voicemail picks up I hear "General delivery mailbox". Why am I not hearing the name and greeting I recorded?
Check under the mailbox set up ( where you created it) for that extension that the extension number of that phone is on that mailbox> in other words, you could create mailbox 221, but assign it to 222. The Gen Delivery box is 100 which is the catch all for transfers that cannot be completed.
