Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player
OEM version S301.02.15A-D. Connecting to PC running Vista Home Premium. I opened the device's drive in Explorer, copied 2 recordings to a PC folder, and deleted the files from the Sansa. After some time, one of the files disappeared in Explorer, but the other one hung around for a long time. Refreshing the view made no difference. The Sansa display reads "writing", and Windows Safely Remove Hardware tells me the drive is in use and can't be disconnected. The only way I could safely disconnect the Sansa was by restarting. The "writing" msg went away and the Sansa refreshed the database. After bootup I plug the Sansa in again. I see the recordings files have been removed, but I get the "writing" msg again. Once again Safely Remove Hardware tells me I can't, and I have to restart the PC to clear. Any idea what's going on?
Yeah - it keeps trying to transfer those songs to the player - it can't read directly from the location, but the processer knows its there; it doesn;t know what to do with it - so it';s stuck; delete the recordings, dude
