The pass key is the password the bluetooth accessory has. So your car stereo manufacturer has a code that you enter on your phone, so that someone nearby with a bluetooth cell phone won't be able to hook to your stereo - it's usually in your owners manual for your stereo or bluetooth speaker system.
Most bluetooth headsets have a passcode of 0000, and it's the same for Motorola headsets, plantronics headsets etc. You may be able to lookup the passcode for your bluetooth speaker system in a manual online, if you no longer have it.
The following procedure is dependent to the phone in use! However it is mainly for Motorola brand but it works with many others too! 1. Turn on your mobile phones bluetooth function and go to search for new devices menu. 2. On the headset, From turned off state, Try holding down the power button for at least 5 seconds. - The light should stay constantly on (or in other brands flashining very fast) which means the headset is in receiving/searching state! 3. search in your mobile phone for blue tooth devices(the phone and headset shouldn't be more than 5 meters away from each other ) 4. When you find your blue tooth headset, chose it and hit "connect" or "pair" with the device! 5. you will be asked for a pin, put in "0000" and ok!
now your headset should be paired with your phone (the light flashes slowly) and will be ready to receive calls!
The name of your bluetooth headset is the OmniTech (OT-020C).
This will be slightly difficult to explain without knowing the model of phone... First off, you need to ensure that you are using a bluetooth enabled phone. You will need to enter the settings and tools menu. From within that menu, you need to find either "connections" or "bluetooth" and select. Make sure bluetooth is enabled. There will be an option to add a new device.
On your bluetooth headset, hold down the power button down until the power light stays lit. This may take 5 seconds or more. Now your bluetooth is in pairing mode.
Back to the phone, you want to hit "add new device". On certain models of phone you additionally have to select "search for devices". Your phone will recognize any headsets in pairing mode. When it is finished scanning, allow the phone to add your headset. It will ask you for the device pin code. This pin code will be 0000.
I hope this answered all of your concerns. If you are having trouble with finding the correct settings from within your phone, reply with your phone model and I can give you more detailed information!
First you need to turn blue tooth on in your phone, menu>settings>bluetooth(sometimes it's connection>enable bluetooth.
Then you have to tell your phone to search for a device I think that's under handsfree in the bluetooth menu. To put tell your headset to look for the phone make sure it's off. Then press and hold the power key until it starts flashing repeatedly, (if your headset has a flip mic you will have to flip it open as you are holding power) The trick is putting both the phone and headet into pairing at the same time. the phone should find the headet, you need select and it will ask you for a pass code, the pass code is 0000 . Hit connect and you are good to go.
Good luck, if you need more details let me know what model headset and what model RZR. (V3, V3M,V3XX)
