The blinking light tells you it is on and working it is also part of the setup process
The only two ways to stop it blinking is to shut down the headphones or dismantle the headset and disconnect the led
i have the same problem. i am worried. i was playing counter strike and we finished. everybody was congratulating. shortly after a loud beep a bit lower pitch than the turning of and on noise that the headset makes. i turned it on and off. the only thing that stopped the beep was to mute the mic. fiddles with the 2 buttons, the light dimmed greatly and the mic started blinking blue. if you are able to find any way to fix it please contact me on skype : Sassy_Sasquach. Thanks!
1- First turn on Bluetooth function on the Finesse. 2- Then start the pairing mode on the headset (for a Jawbone, make sure it is turned off then press the Noise Shield button for 3 seconds, the LED will begin to flash Red then White. 3- Back on your Finesse you should have the Bluetooth screen up with the search button in center, Press the Search button. *the search & pairing process takes a minute or two, wait untill your headset finishes and stops blinking. 4- You should now show your Bluetooth device on your Finesse screen. 5- Now with your finger, Press,Hold and Drag the newly found headset icon onto the Search button in the center of screen. 6- A new screen will pop up then asking for the Passcode, enter: 0000 and press OK.
Your New Bluetooth Headset should now be linked to your Finesse. : )
i actually got this to work with my iphone 3G S. i pressed the little black button then saw a blue light flash, and then i pressed and held the + volume button and the call control button until it started blinking blue and red and my iphone picked it up instantly. it did take a couple of times to get the headset to go into pairing though
If the Plantronics CS55 wireless headset shows that it is on, you have to make sure of the following things.
a. the green LED on the base turns on when you turn the call switch on from the headset. b. the small green LED on the side of the headset is blinking. c. the telephone headset is lifted from the cradle. d. if the headset is not charging and the Amber light on the base does not blink when you place wireless headset on it; trying placing the headset more firmly. e. If the headset is not charging and the Amber light on the base does not blink even after placing the wireless headset firmly on the charging cradle, you may need to change the battery.
Alternately you can try resetting the Plantronics CS55 wireless headset.
Reset Plantronics CS50, CS60 or CS55 Wireless Headset
If you have problems with the sound or connection of your Plantronics CS50, CS60 or CS55 wireless phone headset, you may want to try to hard reset it using the following steps:
Note: Ensure the IntelliStand switch (on the right side of the charging base) is in the - position and NOT the = position.
1. Press both the call control button and the listening volume/mute button for 5 seconds. When the indicator light blinks release both buttons.
2. Press the call control button again. The talk indicator light will again blink to indicate the headset is back to normal.
3. Disconnect the AC charger from the AC charging jack for 5 seconds.
Do not use the power button to sync. To sync device, Press + button
(volume) and Silver button (on boom) at simultaneously. LED Light will
blink RED & BLUE. Device ID should appear on your screen. sometimes it is tricky and you do have to turn on the power so try it both ways and if the power is on hold the 2 buttons for about 30 seconds to 1 minute if the light stays blue turn off and try again they are not easy to sync the code for pairing if they ask you for 1 is 0000
The actual problem was Plantronics, I was not turning on pairing mode. I was confused with quick pair which starts not immediately after turning on, but you need to hold the button longer until led will start blinking blue and red.
You just have to press your blutooth on/off button a bit longer for 15 to 20 sec, when the LED blinking stops (noted that the LED should be turn ON but not blinking), try to search the device again with your phone. By that time your blutooth headset should be recognized by your phone, then select and enter the code 0000.
