I bought these for my Chevy silverado 1500

Simply build a 1 inch thick mounting bracket .... a 1" x 8" piece of scrap wood or plywood will work... to the door.... and attach the speakers to them....
round the edges to get a 'custom' look.

1999 Chevrolet Suburban speakers

According to, you have 6 3/4" speakers in the front and rear doors, 4"x10" in the rear pillars. The 6 3/4" locations should be able to fit 6 1/2" and 5 1/4" speakers using adapters. I would imagine the same could be said for using 6"x9" speakers in the 4"x10" pillar locations.

You can use the factory wiring but, it would sound better with an after market stereo and RCA plugs. You should look into some amp wiring kits for your vehicle. More than likely you will nee an amp to push a set of subs.
