Sounds like a bad temperature control switch. If it looks like it can be replaced, check with Johnstone or Grainger Supply company to match it up. Google it for their websites.

SOURCE: Can someone please tell me what is the lowest temperature setting a Fahrenheat 3000 Watt Large Room Fan-Forced Wall Heater Model FZL3004 will turn on at ?

about the only way I can figure is to let the room get very cool and adjust the thermostat to its lowest setting. now turn on the unit. monitor the heat until the stat just opens. the thermostat bimetal will be closed and will open when the bimetal expands and opens its contacts. another way is to hitch up a chart recorder to measure temperature with its output connected to the heater. SOURCE: I bought a home that

Hi, what you may want to do, since the plastic is stripped on the dial, that is on the metal post, is buy you a package of JB weld. A 2-part epoxy that works great for these types of repairs. You can get it at a hardware store or auto parts store. Drying time depends on the package you get, they have a fast dry, and a 4 to 6 hour set up time. This epoxy is awesome and will do the job. I have looked online for something that would replace this control knob, but can't find anything, so I came up with this. It will do the job and is user friendly. Just center the shaft or better yet, turn it all the way off. Apply the epoxy to the shaft, and place the round plastic knob on the shaft to the off position. You will be ready to go. Please let me know how this goes for you, and I know by the time you pick this up, mix it, and put it on, you will be way ahead of solving this problem.
Sincerely,

How do I remove the dust that has accumulated on the fan of my Fahrenheat FFH1614B

Make sure it's turned off. Better yet, turn off the circuit breaker to the heater. Remove the cover by unscrewing the 2 screws that hold the front cover in place. Use a vacuum with a brush attachment to vacuum the blades, as well as the interior of the heater. If necessary, use some canned compressed air (like you clean a computer with) with the straw nozzle attached, to blow out any areas the vacuum can't reach. Then vacuum again. Replace the cover with the 2 screws you removed. Turn the circuit breaker on and you're back in business.

Cleaning should be done twice a year.

Drawing current but not producing any heat.

I am assuming this is an electric wall mount heater, if the unit is drawing current then it should relate to heat as 3.41 btu is = 1 watt.
take the voltage reading and the amp draw and mutiply them to determine the wattage eg; 240 volts x 20.8 amps = 5000 watts = 17,050 btu. if the unit is fan assited and you are drawing 1 to 2 amps this would indicate the fan is runnning without the heat element being energized hope this helps

How do I wire up my fahrenheat F25408 baseboar heater?

Baseboard heaters are easy to hitch up. You can have a wall mounted thermostat or an integral thermostat. The diagram I have is for the integral thermostat. Follow the diagram and it should work.
