Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition

Memory disappearing due to WVHPH

HELP!! My new loptop computer has lost about 15GB in about a month. I called Toshiba about this problem and they said very many people have had this same problem, and that it is being caused by my Windows Vista Home Premium. They told me that this problem was solved by lengthy sessions of research and troubleshooting. They also said that Microsoft should be able to assist me with this problem. Can you help me, please? Thank You -- Sandra

This could be as simple as not enough memory, requiring the insertion of a memory chip. This is a simple end user operation. There is a flap on the underside of the unit covering where you plug the chip in.

For a more detailed help if this does not work provide the full specification of the computer please.

I previously thought I'd lost some photos as they seemed to disappear from my camera weeks and months ago. I download photos regularly. The lost photos have now shown up - am I right to assume that they...

If they are on the internal memory, they will show up when there is no card in the camera. If you would like to keep these pics, there is a feature called "copy" in the menu which allows you to copy the internal memory to a memory card.
