Hello Sir

Are you sure you are reconnecting to the wireless router or not? If so please go to the wireless connection wizard and search again for the wifi connection and make sure that you are actually connecting to the wireless network.

You can also reset the wireless router from the reset button that is on the router itself (refer to manual for the location of the reset button) and try and to the above again.

I hope that this solution was of help to you :)

Cheers

there is a code on your wirless router that you need to add to your p.c on the bottom right corner of the screen there is a list of avaible networks that you may connect to select the one that is your own isp provider and add the relevant security code

Its not connecting proprely to the internet

You forgot to mentioned the kind of what brand of wireless router you have. first you have to activate or properly setup the wireless router. the factory default ip address is 192.168.1.1 Go to web browser even it will say fail to connect to server. type in 192.168.1.1 to the address bar. the default user id admin and the password is password. wireless basic setup is the first one, next is the wireless setting. Since I have no clue what kind or brand you have there is a setting for b,g,n most likely your laptop is a g signal. if the router is set for n signal your laptop will not connect. make sure to set to b,g,n setting and this will work. your laptop will connect to the internet. oh I forgot to mention to set for wep key or passphrase. then input the to your laptop to connect. I hfope this will help you solve the problem.

How do I get internet on my laptop from my pc not using a cable?

what you would need to get is a wirless router. If you have high speed internet then you can plug the internet modem into the wireless router and then plug your main pc into the router via an ethernet cable and then set up your laptop to pick up the signal wirelessly. If you have dial up internet then you would still need a wireless router but it is a little more complicated. You could hook up the router to your main pc and then set up internet connection sharing so that way your laptop could pick it up wirelessly. hopefully this helps.

I am unable to stay connected to the internet.

I would suggest setting a static IP Address as this will help, see instructions here:

The problem isnt the router

From a machine wired to the router, open a command prompt and type ipconfig /all

Do the same on the wirelessly connected laptop. Make sure the dns servers on the laptop match the desktop. You may have to add the dns statically on the wireless connection. Let me know if that works.

Internet Explorer cannot display the web page

Have you installed any software firewalls lately, I know Norton has a habit of randomly blocking the internet.

Try disabling any firewall you may have and try again, if the internet surfing problem persists, try plugging in a wired connection and seeing if you can surf from there.

Wont connect to server??

If you can still connect to your router, it may be that your internet connection is down, try to reboot your cable/dsl modem.
