I HAVE a COMPAQ PESARIO CQ5O IT DOES CONNECT TO WIRLESS ROUTER WITH GOOD SIGNAL STRENGHT, BUT WHEN I TRY TO GET ON INTERNET IT SAYS IT CANT DISPLAY PAGE... Y.... IT WORKED THE FIRST DAY i GOT IT THEN IT STOP DISPLAYING WEB OR INTERNET

    Dear maam
    the problem is not the router or wireless connection it is actually the able to get to see the internet. when i log on to exploerer it is saying web page cant be displayed and no web like yahoo or anything will come up......the dynex router works great because I have other computer hooked up to it and they work fine

Hello Sir

Are you sure you are reconnecting to the wireless router or not? If so please go to the wireless connection wizard and search again for the wifi connection and make sure that you are actually connecting to the wireless network.

You can also reset the wireless router from the reset button that is on the router itself (refer to manual for the location of the reset button) and try and to the above again.

I can not connect wirless router
check the cable of the router it may not be inserted properly. If the problem still exist unplug the router then plug it again to refresh the configuration...then try to connect again. If still not working the possible cause will be the ISP or the internet subscriber provider...signal maybe too low to access the internet

I have a netgear wg113v . I have excellent signal strenght but no cennectivity, manager has indicated it it is a probable router problem.
Can you connect to Internet when you plug your computer directly into router?

Wont connect to internet
Secure is not there to re-assure you, its telling you the network is password protected & you need the password to connect. The wireless key will appear on the staus screen of your router. Connect using a wire, goto the router status screen & write down the wireless key, try to re-connect wirelessly.

Ok, the problem is that you can't connect to YOUR network right? Here's some things that could help you out:
  1. Make sure you reset your modem, simply unplug it for a few seconds. Then connect it again, select your network automatically.
  2. Make sure your internet provider's servers aren't down.
  3. Make sure modem is connected to your router properly.

Wirless signal problem
Make sure there is no interference, such as microwaves or cell phones that operate at 2.4ghz. Do you have many thick inside walls between your router and your computer? You could try a signal boosting antenna to attach to your router.
