You can reset user account password by using password reset disk. If you have not created password reset disk then you can use stellar phoenix password recovery software to reset password.

Lost Windows password:


  • Login as Administrator. Try with no password (load safe mode if you don't see Administrator). Press F8 during boot to access Safe Mode. XP only.
  • Login as other user (if other user is available) and manage users. Must be an administrator.
  • Reformat computer.
  • Use 3rd party software to remove password. Like http://www.top-password.com/reset-windows-password.html
  • Free software option would be Hirens Boot CD. This one is command prompt only. http://www.hirensbootcd.org/ Must follow instructions exactly.

How to get into computer at windows when it calls for a password but nobody remembers it
if your using windows xp you can do the following:

#1 boot into safe mode (press F8 before windows starts),

#2 log onto the account named "administaor" NOT your normal account

#3 go into control panal and remove password from user account settings.

I cant remember how many times iv forgot my password and had to do this. that or reinstall windows but i dont think anyone wants that joy.

Cant remember my user name and password
Hello.

There is a hidden Administrator account that is created when your operating system is installed. Access that account and then reset your password.

1. Boot your computer and press F8 repeatedly
2. Access Safe Mode
3. Key in "Administrator" in Username, with no password.
4. Go to Control Panel, then User Accounts
5. Select the account you want to reset the password
6. Change the password

I cant seem remember my security answer in order to verify my account for my yahoo email, and my password doesnt seemw ork either yet i verifie my alternative meail address cause they sent me my user i.d
As you don't remember security answer>>alternate email address user id and password.

If this yahoo account is paid account then you can contact to yahoo directly.

Cant login to user
Press F8 after start up screen and use safe mode. this will log you in as administrator. then goto control panel>users select the account you cant log into and remove password. this will work as long as you remember or didn't set an administrator password when you installed windows.

Just having your password won't do you much good but if you linked any other emal accounts to the one you can't access then you can click "i can't access my account", then click "I forgot my yahoo id". Then you just have to fill in the information and your ID will be emailed to your other account.

Accidently log off and cant remember password.
Hi there,

you wont be able to see your contact list in the new user account since this is a totally different username. If y ou cant remember your password, there is an option to click on forgot password. click that adn it will give you the option to retrieve the password. check this link as well:

Password not working cant get into acct
If a users Yahoo mail account is not working in this situation the user can add account key. In this only one user can open the account. So the user can follow the steps to get help:
    ?Login "Yahoo Page"
    ?Select the account key option.
    ?Tap to "see the account key"
    ?Click further on the Yes circle to active the account key
    ?Then Tap "Yes, enable account key" follow the step
    ?And continue the option to "setup"
