You should be able to buy a universal power adapter from Radio Shack that will most likely have 4 or 5 different connection tips and will be able to change the voltage to different voltages.

Good Luck

I have a Netgear wireless router WGR614 v5 with the AC adapter of 120V-60Hz-16W. I've moved to Europe where the electricity is 220V. Can I use an AC adapter of 220V for this wireless router? Thanks a lot...

Yes, make sure you have a new power supply with the right voltage output, enough current (if the new power supply is rated for more current output, it will be OK), and the right plug with the right polarity.

Check your power supply, some will actually work with a wide range of voltage, some actually go from 100-250VAC. 50Hz-60Hz

Power supply only putting out 6 volts vs. needed 12v. Router sees that as a "loose wire". Looking for replacement power adaptor.

Hi, I want to tell you that if you are looking for the replacement for the power adapter you can call netgear and you can purchase netgear adapter from the customer support for netgear. And also you can buy any other power supply adapter which have the same power supply voltage and you can use it without having any problem.

No Power to my Netgear Rangemax Next Wireless N-Router WNR834Bv2

This happens from time to time with these routers. It happenned to me with a Linksys and I found that the power unit in the router failed. One thing you could do is try a couple of different wall sockets or see if another adapter might work. Is your Netgear new enough to get replaced by the store?

To go Wireless on your desktop Acer Aspire L3600, you should consider buying an USB Wireless Adapter. It could be any brand as long have same frequency with your Netgear (i.e 2.4 Ghz/5.8 Ghz)

When your router don't have any power at all this can be a problem firs of the power adapter that you;re using so first thing that you can try is to use a different power adapter and if using a different power adapter still no power on the router , sorry to say but router is already bad and needs a replacement...

No power

First thing to try here is to get a new power adapter if you have friends that have a netgear router you can use the power adapter of those but if not , you can go to a electronic store near you and ask for a power adapter or better yet take te router with you and check if it will be power ON if you try to plug it using a power adapter from the store before you buy a new power adapter, and if the router will still not power ON using a different power adapter the router is already dead and if its still under warranty better contact Netgear and have it replace....

Hope that helps.........
