Question about GE Spacemaker JVM1640SJ Microwave Oven
I just purchased GE space maker model JNM1541 and when I plugged it in,, it tripped the circuit breaker and died. Are you ware of any problems with model ??
If it's less than one year old, it should be fully covered under warranty.
I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free or better still, if you've had it less than 30 days, I'd have the dealer replace it.
GE Customer Service is here.
It sounds like the door or door switch mounts are misaligned. It may have been damaged in shipping.
