Remove the harddrive where your files are save then try to open it in another PC if problem persist there something wrong with your harddrive. Try to format your harddrive then after formating use a software that recover your files but im not sure that all files will be recover im 50/50% you you dont have that program I have some just ask assistance. But if your drive is ok then your files is also there. There is something wrong with OS matbe it is attact by a virus.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to recove Seagate external hard drive data?

Probably, the new operating system cannot recognize your Seagate external hard drive. You can connect the Seagate external hard drive to another computer to copy data to another device. If the problem still exists, you might need to perform data recovery. You can free download the data recovery software: http://www.icare-recovery.com/seagate-recovery/seagate-external-cannot-be-recognized.html

Seagate freeagent goflex 750 put some movies onto it no problem ,but my tv, or bluray usb doesnt recognise it .any ideas?

Hi,
Welcome to Fixya. Can you pleae provide the make and model of the blueray device so that we can check if the file format of the blueray device is NTFS or FAT32. By default external hard drive is set to NTFS. A good example of this one is a PS3. Ps3 can only detect a hard drive that is a Fat32 fotmat so incase you connect a NTFS hard drive it wont detect it.
Thanks
