Dear Donna,
When a document is scanned from the top portion of the printer, it will loop around and output from underneath. The scanning glass on the far left side will have some debris on it. Lift the the lid exposing the glass portion, inspect for "stuff" on the glass, perhaps pen or white out. You can use a mild soap and lightly dampened cloth to remove any debris.
Good Luck,
Pre

When I fax something from the top of the xerox workcentre 3210 it puts lines down the middle of the page when it sends to people and when I receive faxes. How do I fix this?

There is a narrow strip of glass that needs to be cleaned. When you raise the top look on the left side for that narrow strip of glass. the smallest dot of dirt makes lines on the documents.

This does so. You should clean the optometrist of the scanner. When works the printer, bands no, faithfully? But problem in scanning block. Unscrew glass of the scanner and wipe optiku. to clean the Mirrors. But afterwards do the copy While!

Black line down middle of page

Clean off the glass place where the paper passes when you fax. You'll probably find some foreign matter on it. Wipe it off and you should be good to go.
