Question about Hamilton Beach Water Cooler with Storage Cabinet
I have a Hamilton Beach water cooler and it stopped heating the water a while back. Now the cold water side is coming out really slowly and the water tastes funny.
I have a hamilton beach water cooler with storage cabinet # 87330. The cold water is not cold and the cooling light stays on. What is the problem and how can I fix it? Thanks!

I own a Greenway Water Cooler...it has not been used for about 2ys....When we went to use again it no longer dispenses water...What can be done to make the water work again?it has Ice around the top where the bottle is loaded. Please advise...

It could just be that the fuse is out. The fuse may be located on the outside back of your water dispenser or you may have to open it and find it.

For water cooler/heaters:
If it's not warming the water there is likely a bad thermal fuse or temperature sensor. It needs to be repaired.
If it's not cooling, you could have a bad compressor, a bad temperature sensor or a bad thermal pad (depending on if the unit uses a thermal pad or a compressor). Don't purchase stuff like this from Craig's List because you will end up with junk that doesn't work.
For taste/smell: Read the freaking instructions for gods sake. Clean the cooler with vinegar and water (just like any other water heating or cooling product including coffee makers). I can't believe how helpless people are.
BTW, for those people who obviously can't read instructions, you don'
t tag your question onto other people's questions, you create a new question. All you people who entered a question in the SOLUTION window are idiots. A question entered as a solution will not even show up as a new question and will likely never get answered. Lucky I was here looking for something else. I know it doesn't help that this site is confusing and hard to understand, but really if you read the instructions it's not that hard to use.

Hi we have water cooler, we just re-fill water up, and used water to drink. we has it for a year, and the fuse cut the electrical out in house, what problem do i have to find it out?

Solution: Push plug completely into outlet
Possible Causes: Heating switch not on
Solution: Check to be sure heating switch is turned to ON
Possible Causes: The fuse is blown/circuit
Solution: 1. Replace house fuse or reset breaker is tripped circuit breaker.
2. If too many items are plugged into a single circuit, move some items to a different circuit
Possible Causes: Temperature limiter tripped
Solution: 1. Set the hot and cold power switches to OFF
2. Wait five minutes, then set switches to ON position.
3. Wait 30 minutes for water to heat or cool
