Fogit it and try to get a remote from original company since universals only offer minimal control functions.

It has to be in the Sat box if swapping eliminates it--if cannot find it there in the menu (Timer) get the box replaced as defective.

I have an Apro TV, AL-2010ht I am having trouble retuning freeview , I cannot find the instruction booklet so please can you offer any advice?

First ensure that the TV input is set on the Freeview channels, just in case.

Then check the antenna, when Freeview does not get all channels, it is always the aerial (antenna).

Many areas in UK have still poor reception. If you use an internal antenna, go to Argos or Currys and buy an amplified antenna for freeview, that will improve the signal.

What is the make of your universel remote control.

According to the booklet you have to enter the code 119 for a Goodmans TV, however it does not work with my Goodmans portable TV and even quick search / autoscan doesn't find the TV.
