Range heating problem

I have a Maytag range that is only 3 years old. It would not heat up so I replaced the heating element. It now will heat up to 350 but it will not get any hotter. I'm also not 100% sure that it is really getting up to 350. What should I replace next? Or should I just call a repair man?

If you already eplaced the heating element and its still no doing what its supposed to then its time to call in a repair man instead of 2nd guessing or changing part after part,,,

I don't know, but it sounds like one of the heating elements are burnt out/no longer working. I had a similiar problem 5 years ago.. they're pretty easy to replace yourself if you are handy and have a screw driver. I think the one for my stove cost $18 to replace (5 years ago) here's the trouble shooting guide online for you model:

Electric burner does not heat up.

Hi,
The reason for Maytag electric burner not to heat up is that the heating element had exploded and there was white powder all over the inside of the oven. Replacing the heating element will make it work.
Also would recommend having the following cross verified:
· Element terminals have loose connections? Reposition the element.
· Range element shorted out? Find out by testing; replace if needed.
· Burner switch is bad? Find out by testing; replace if needed.
· Element receptacle bad?
Find out by testing; replace if needed.

Electric oven does not heat up enough

I had the same problem before the warranty expired. The heating element had exploded and there was white powder all over the inside of the oven. They replaced the heating element and it works as it should, however, this oven has never baked right. It gets hotter on the right hand side than it does the left and I have to constantly watch whatever I bake. I'm not very happy with this oven.
