I need to change my nat type from moderate to open so i can connect to my friends on call of duty black ops for ps3

In order to configure this, you need to know:

- The IP address of the computer or device to have the port forwarded to.

- The port numbers to be used and whether these are TCP or UDP ports

(Note: We recommend you use a computer that has a wired connection to the router.)

Setup steps:

  1. Open a Web Browser on the computer. Type in
  2. In the address bar of the Web Browser type Click Login in the upper right hand corner of the page. The router does not ship with a password, so just click submit.

  1. Click on Virtual Servers under Firewall in the menu on the left

  1. Enter the following information
    • In the description box type the letters X,INBOUND PORT - 0&SELECT TYPE BOTH ,PRIVATE IP ADDRESS IS -,PRIVATE PORT IS - 65535

  1. Click the Apply Changes button

I can't play my PS3 & Comp. at the same time with my router

try assigning a static IP address in the range of belkin router for your computer and PS3...that is 192.168.2.X (where X = 2 to 254)
the default gateway should be Log into your router and enable DMZ for the IP address assigned to your PS3...Goto Virtual servers in the router setup page and open the concerned ports for playing games in your computer(enter computer IP here in virtual servers)....the common gaming ports would be,
port 80 TCP,UDP
port 88 TCP,UDP
port 3074 TCP,UDP
port 53 TCP,UDP

click apply changes and try playing now... you can also restart the router for working better.... enjoy....

Playing a game called "Borderland" I can't get game to run in multiplayer mode if my Belkin N1 router is is in the circuit. If I remove the router from the circuit, multiplayer will work

you will need to do the following things
1 : Get the TCP & UDP Ports Required for the game
2 : The IP Address Of the PC

Step 1 : Open RSP by typing on the address bar of internet explorer

Step 2 : On the Left Click on firewall

Step 3 : Leave the password blankand click Submit

Step 4 : Disable the Firewall and click Apply Changes

If it is Still not Working

On the left hand side under Firewall Click Virtual Servers

Enable the Ports that you need and assign the IP Address of the PC For the Ports and click Apply Changes

Low ID on eMule

One more thing re low id on emule - try to choose ports between 10000 and 60000 - many isps block the standard ports that emule users choose, and you will see people saying to choose one over 5000, but I'd chosen ports between 5000 and 10000, and still had no luck until I went over10000.
Most isps don't monitor ports over 10000, so if you still have low id problems even after port forwarding and setting up your firewall, this may be the answer to your problem! (I got this info off, and it worked for me)
