My sony bravia NSX-40GT1 is dead....no lights...nothing. (lightning strike) If I replace the P/S board will that get it up and running?

First things i would check are the powerpoint and then the fuses
a lightning strike at the powerpole may take out a fuse at the fuse box thus no power at the powerpoint,a power surge could take out the fuses on the powersupply board but check all fuses ,be sure to unplug the set from the wall first.
good luck.

Why does the battery level icon show only a "lightning strike" symbol?

Lightning Strike Symbol means that the battery is charging.
If it is shown even when it is not charging then your charging circuit needs to repaired. Just replace the charging IC not a very high cost. Might cost around 5-10USD.

Bose 321 will not power up after power surge or possible lighting strike on our boat , tried 60 second reset

Do you have power to it or are you just doing the reset procedure with it dead? If you had a lightning strike then you need to check everything starting with the fuses wiring and if it applies the inverter. No brainer check is the battery itself.

Since lightning struck the house the CM1312 is dead. I looked inside and the main fuses are okay. Any suggestions?

Call your insurance company and put in a claim.
If it is under warranty call HP.

Does not power on. Q951 charred

you can look for the model and brand, look for it on the internet and see if you can have the schematic diagram, you're lucky if u can. Lightning will strike first the tuner side, if there is a red blink, the primary side may be okay in switching type regulator, just replacing the charred part may not solve the problem. look for shorted components on the secondary of the power section.

Possible lightening strike

Lightning will create a lot more damage, the vertical circuit has become defective, the repair should not be expensive better be safe and call a qualified technician.
